Cindy Sheehan to run vs Pelosi if Bush not impeached

Thought this was seriously a joke when I first heard it, and didn't see a thread yet here. I mean, the Dems are spineless [censored], but I still hate Sheehan an incredible amount for her attention whorish ways. Anyways, this has to be one of the most ridiculous "ultimatums" ever.

Meh, she may be a nut but at least she's fighting for the right cause.

Exactly, she is a clown but at least she is fighting and calling [censored] on these people. I hope she has some success in this.

"I'm doing it to encourage other people to run against Congress members who aren't doing their jobs, who are beholden to special interests," Sheehan said.

probably the smartest thing she'll ever say, thats how it should work

Does anyone else think a fundamental realignment, like that of the '60s is coming to the American political parties? I think the realignment is going to focus on globalization and the response to it. Protectionist, isolationist (not meant to be used as pejoratives) radicals like Seehan on one side; more benign Democratic paternalists (like Bloomberg on NY) on the other, somehow aligning itself with the Guiliani side of the right. This is incomplete, I have no idea where the social conservatives would go. It just seems to the me the Democratic party is too lumbering, huge, and composed far too disparate interests to function as a platform anymore. Michael Moore correctly blasts Hillary Clinton in Sicko as just more of the same type of conservative politician. I think the fringe movements on both parties are agitating for greater and greater changes.
