Kinda hoping the Philly line will move a bit to 10.5, but I like that line anyways, to start. Nothing else jumps out at me just yet. Maybe GB/CAR under 37.5, but that's a pretty low total.

Kinda liking Vikes -5.5, even with Purple Jesus out.

The one thing I didn't do last week was look at matchups. Well, Oakland will have trouble scoring points against a very tough run defense (GB game excluded). Also, Taylor's not exactly a rookie, and I expect he'll have a fine day.

I was thinkin the same thing here. Facing the league's 29th ranked rush defense is going to be painful in the Vik's homefield. Even without Peterson, Taylor with run over them without hesitation, he just needs to learn to hold on to the ball a bit tighter against a big Oakland frontline.

If they get Peterson in the game I think this is a no-brainer to cover the 5.5. Minnesota's coming in with a crush or be mamed attitude, and you have to think they want the W at home right now.

I'm in for Minnesota -5.5 on a fine Monday afternoon

OK, wagerline had the DET/NYG game open at PK. When I checked it on sportsinteraction.com, it was at Det +3, now wagerline has it at Det +1.5

Weird. I'm not smart enough to know what that means.

Peterson will be out for more than one week. He tore a ligament in his knee, but not the major one(ACL). Ligament tears are graded from 1 to 3 and his is described as a two plus. His coach seems optimistic he can play this year, but if I was in adrian I would not play for the rest of this season just to be safe.
