in my first quarter of culinary school... sponsor me for the next 16 quarters then you can hire me as a personal chef when I graduate. Itll only cost you ~100grand, then I dont know, 50 or 60 a year once I graduate?

I would like to mention that the last contest in OOT in which Mermade was to choose the ingredient and the contest never got under way. She had chosen mushrooms.

I think I remember some people being very excited about it and others wanting to wait for the next ingredient. Mushrooms seem to be something you really love or hate.

fwiw, I think mushrooms would be an excellent choice, as would berries.

I'm back from out of town and I'm disappointed to see that no EDF food challenge has sprouted up in my absence. It would be nice to start something up August 1 and run for the whole month. I would suggest a seasonal challenge. Some ingredient that will be abundant in August. I'm pulling for a tomato challenge. My garden is spitting them out like crazy right now.
