Odds for any 2

What kind of odds do you need to push with any 2 ...thinking mainly of later stages in MTT.

How about to call?
How about to call a bet + caller?

Thanks a lot!

Re: Odds for any 2

This is one example of why I'm asking. Seem to get in this situation a lot though!

I folded because I didn't think I would be good against a raiser and a caller, turns out I would have flopped a nice hand, but was it the correct decision?

I think there was approx 25/180 left, top 18 paid.

I then went on to get lucky a few times and numbers dropped pretty quickly - though obviously needed to with less than a BB left.

I'd have folded and hoped for a better starting hand on the small blind. But I don't think it wouldn't have been wrong to make a stand with any two cards.

I'm not one of the experts on 2+2, and I'm not a tournament player. I can't even hazard a guess regarding the odds needed.

Bump so someone can answer the odds question.

You're in a situation where you have little more than two big blinds. At all costs, don't allow yourself to be blinded out like Broomcorn's uncle. You need to push with any two cards before you get under three big blinds. Of course, you can get extremely shortstacked if you're all in and have your opponent barely covered.

It's clear that you can't push your opponents out of the pot with as little as you have. That's why I said I'd hope to have a better hand on the small blind.
