TP2K facing river blocker from TAG

Dropped down for a game revamp, is this a spot I can look for thin value?

Villain is 21.2/15/2.6 with a fold to CBet of 40% over a couple hundred hands. I'm playing with him on a couple table and have taken a few small-medium pots in a row off of him.

Umm call.

If it is a blocking bet as you suspect, he is folding to a raise. You don't beat much. Does he call a raise with QT or JT. I doubt it.

with a fold to flop bet % of 40 you can certainly be looking for thin river value. if he had checked i would have fired about 32. as played river is an easy call, raising is a little too thin for my tastes.

his river bet is very confusing to me considering his stats and likely range. so, i guess i just have to go with top pair at 3:1+ and make the call. a blocking bet there with 99- seems pretty stupid to me though.

Given his line and the board texture and the fact that he's not a drooler, he like never has a monster here correct?

Also, does your play change at all if you have AT? (considering that's a significant part of his range)

1) yes

2) its closer but i still probably just call, especially since i consider JJ and QQ to make up part of his range also. i think JJ would be my minimum hand to raise the river with.

pretty rare to see a 21/16 type slowplay a set for 2 streets oop.

Min-raise. This is a worse Tx sooo often. He might even call the min-raise with worse than Tx, 99/88 comes to mind. Fold to a push obv. He won't push like ever though. If he does it's a FH.

true but also AT is possible. I think it's really thin. Just barely +EV imo but certainly sexy.
