bay101 roll call

How many bay101 players here? Ive been playing about once a week, trying to get it up to 2, but it's a long drive from sf.

Supposedly the 20/40 games are infested with 2p2ers but you'd never guess it from playing there. I've probably logged in over 200 hours this year in those games and I'd be surprised if I've played with more than 4 2p2ers there. At 40/80 I can honestly think of just one guy who might be one and I've played over 250 hours there too.

the regs who i suspect could be here:

some guy always playing 40/80. Looks to be around 25-30. he has a pony tail, glasses, wears a bellagio baseball cap, usually dressed up in a black suit. (lol vague description right...)

Other guy often in the 20, some asian kid with a shaved head.

Finally, asian kid with a pony tail. Always dressed like a bum in a tshirt and cargo shorts.

I go thru periods of time where I play there on the weekends, but havent in a couple months. I've played with Sucker in the 40 game a couple times. My impression of the 20 would definitely not be, "infested" with 2+ers. Way too good a game.

By the way I think ,per capita, the Oaks 30 game might have more 2+2ers.

As an aside, I think I saw the Bellagio cap guy stalking our 30 game in the Oaks the other day but he never sat down. I pegged him as 2+2er, even though I've never played with him.

I played there once a week in the spring(usually Thursdays or Fridays, sometimes Saturdays) and will continue doing so next year. I concur with CDC's statement about the 20 games, though I don't think they're that soft. There are a number of reasonable players who are dealers/props/non2p2. Obviously, many of them still have major leaks in their games, but they don't spew off chips like crazy.

Does anyone know if Justin, red headed guy, mid 20's, no taller than 5'8'', works in Venture Capital, plays as high as the 1/2 game, reasonably solid player is 2p2? He's the only guy I've met in my 100+ playing hours.

i know who you're talking about and he seemed pretty solid to me, although that opinion sort of changed when i saw him overlimp on the button after like 5 limpers with KK.

and never seen him play higher than 40/80 and i got the impression that when he did play it he was taking shots.

I play 20/40 there twice a month, mostly on weekends. I live in Livermore and have a card club down the street, which Saturdays goes to 10/20, so the drive is sometimes too much. I am not rolled for the 40/80 game, but I know many gamblers (LAGs) who play that and the 100/200 game.
