Live: 88 in MP vs. very passive table, I get c/r\'ed AI on flop

Playing a single $2 blind. Table is very passive, hardly ever any 3-betting preflop.

I've been rasing quite a bit lately and c-betting almost every flop, last hand I showed down TT vs. A5 on a 7 high flop. I have $90 in front of me and SB has be covered.

Live: 9 handed, single $2 blind.

Preflop:

1 limper, a few folds, I raise to $10, folds to SB who calls, limper folds.

Flop($22): 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks, hero bets $20, SB c/r's AI, Hero...

I have $60 behind be. Since I've been raising a lot and c-betting a lot, is this passive SB smart enough to put me on air and shove? Would this be his line with 77? Since the whole table is so passive, they could easily have TT-AA.

Fold or Call?

Sign me up for fold even though you're getting decent odds - and it must be a pain playing so shortstacked - like a permanent tournament.

Ya definately. I live in Montana and there is a $300 capped pot limit, too. The game starts as a $40 max buy-in with a single $2 blind. Ya, 20 BB's, no implied odds at all. 3 nights a week they have a $100 buy-in which isn't too bad. All else MT offers is some 2-6 through 2-10 spread. Some 10/20 games and 2/5 NL. 10/20 and 2/5 NL really suck with a $300 capped pot limit.

Too many times it's three way action all-in on a flop like AQ5 with AK up against bottom pair with a BD FD, and KQ. Everbody put in $100 and hope to get lucky. It's not poker.

Wow, that's awful - I'd rather play donkaments - at least there's some play near the start. 10/20 - 2/5NL with 300 cap on pot - lol? I want to start playing live soon myself, mainly for fun and being social, which is probably what you're playing it for with those rules.

I'd call with the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and fold otherwise. I think getting 2-1 with only one reasonable draw out there against a guy who is passive isn't worth it.

I can't remember if I had the 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or not, but I don't think I did. I called and he flipped over JJ.
