k getting a projection tv, speakers, and a blu-ray player. this is what i have chosen, plz post advice but keep in mind i have a friend that works at the bose store and get 50% off speakers and 20% off toshiba tvs.

No highs no lows must be Bose. Bose = beat. Audio is the most important part of a h/t set up. Do some research and get something great.

Projection tv = crap...esp anything Toshiba...

Sony/Samsung = decent flat screens.

With a 1k budget you can get laid, but you cant get home theatre

Modern high resolution DLP projection TVs blow everything else out of the water. ban for misinfo.
