EV for AA

What range of EVs are you guys seeing for pocket aces? Mine's negative, due to some terrible beats, and I'm wondering whether that's part of low limit hold-em or if I should still expect AA to be among the best hands...

Over 130ish K hands it won around 80% of the time. Variance sucks.

Much smaller sample size 8k but I am still at 80% for .50/1 1/2 and 2/4 heads up (mostly .50/1)

Should you still expect AA to be among the best hands?

Are you serious? What hand might be better?

AA is great, but not easily improved...if lots of loose players are in, couldn't you be better off with AKs since it can make stronger hands on the river?

What is your point? Are you going to fold AA and wait for AKs or something? AA is the strongest hand and when you have some hands in poker tracker you will see that it makes you the most money. Will you have to fold it sometimes? Yes, but it will still end up making you more money than any other hand.

The point is that it's a gimmick account and somebody is messing with you guys.

I have an inbetween figure of 34000, also at 80 per. 93% raised.

They don't always need to improve and if you hit trips or make a fullhouse you can win a big pot, 10, 12 big bets sometimes more.

AKs obviously better than AKo in drawing terms, but in both cases you have nothing till you hit, which can lead them being overplayed. See this a lot in micros.

Many loose opponents diminish the expectation, its true.

Gimmick account or not I tend to lose a lot of money on AA. Someone always seems to suck out a flush, straight, unlikely two pair or flop trips on me.

*I just lost $10 on AA because some jackass called me down with Q5 and the river paired the board 5. Ruined my whole session.
