dell inspiron 531 4400+ ok?
 

Thinking of purchasing dell inspiron 531 with amd athlon dual core 4400+ processor. I think the processor speed is 2.2 ghz It comes with Vista home premium 32bits, 3gb ram
Is this a decent system for mostly poker playing. I'm going to buy a graphics card after I get the system.

It will play poker fine. A C2D will give you better performance and allow you more room to upgrade the processor later, this is balanced by a higher initial cost. I also think you might as well get 64bit Vista since this will allow you to max out the RAM later if you choose (I don't believe there are any real negatives to 64bit over 32 anymore).
