Foxwoods 2K: QQ vs. UTG limp/reraise

10th hand of the tourney, starting stacks 8000, I have about 9300, UTG has about 8000. I recognize UTG from prior tourney as young, super aggro player. 25/50. UTG limps, I make it 250 with QQ from UTG+3. CO and button, both middle-aged guys, call. I know button, he's a solid live pro. UTG makes it 1050. I call quickly. CO and button both fold. I'm fairly certain button would not fold a pair here, he must have had a big A, I say to myself. CO, I have no idea.

Flop: 6 6 4, 2 clubs. UTG bets 1200, I call.

Turn: I think was a 3, it was below a six, was not a club, did not pair the board. UTG bets 2500. What to do?

UTG is close to pot committed no ? Pot will be 10075 and he's only got 3250 left, and you'll have 4550 if you call.

I can't believe he'd pot commit himself on a total bluff. Perhaps he has AcKc ? Only other hands that make sense are 44 66 JJ+. 66 QQ unlikely, and AA KK seems like he'd shove pre-flop. Narrowing it down to AcKc 44 JJ. You're only afraid of one of those, so shove ... ?

Would a super aggro 4bet a Sammy hand here ? A4, A6, 64, 7c5c 5c3c, 6X ? I could see him calling with those, not 4betting.

The less than half-pot flop bet worries me.

Why would he shove preflop? He made an extremely small raise, pretty sure he has AA/KK most times here. I'd just fold the flop.

about no one ever limp-reraise with a hand like that 10th hand of a live tournament.

I agree with gobbo that flop is a fold and wouldnt really mind a pf fold even though calling is perfectly ok. fold turn as played.

im in the camp that this is almost always AA KK. That said, calling the flop is more or less calling for a set or to see if they shut down. so why cant we spite fold pre and laugh at the limp reraising donkey.

Fold on the flop.

BTW, How many players in today's 2K event? Any estimate for tomorrow's 3K?

because of things like 'button, a solid live pro, never folds a pair here' (lol?) meaning the pot's gonna be 3-4 way a lot, and if UTG has AK or some crap he is not gonna fire overs 4 handed.

we can spite fold the flop though.
