1600x1200 Resolution ??

Looking to get a 20" or 22" widescreen to 4 table on Stars. Is 1600x1200 the minimun resolution I should get?

Thanks in advance. I checked the stickyand used search but was still confused as the minimun requirments.

If you're getting a widescreen, you probably want 1920x1200, since 1600x1200 is not really widescreen proportions.

Understand that the size of the monitor in inches doesn't matter much for multi-tabling. 1600x1200 is perfect for 4 tabling without overlapping, adding another table per row you'll either need to overlap or shrink them a bit. The tables will be bigger because the monitor is bigger but they won't be all that much easier to read because the pixels will be bigger too.

Stars does have resizble tables. I play 3 or 4 on at 1280x1024 without overlap. If you want to run the tables at full size, you need 1600x1200.

I'm looking at picking up a monitor, and the 1600x1200 204b is still around $300, whereas I could pickup a 1280x1024 model for around $150.

How many sites these days don't actually have resizable tables? It seems like most do.

I play on FTP right now, but might consider playing some on Absolute or others.

The bigger resolution is worth the money.
