Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
[censored] me. im such a dumbass. so the day is goin good and i am ponin bitches left and right. most of the 100nl tables start dying off so i move up and open a few 200nl tables. one of them ikestoys is at. first mistake right there. why am i sitting with some one who i kno is a winning 5/10 player. dumb. but i think meh ill just chill and keep out of his way. so i keep a tight image and dont really get out of line much. pretty nitty tag up to this point. then i decide im gonna grab the bull by his horns. mistake number 2. so this hand ends up playin out...
No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $484.75 Button: $186.10 Hero: $435.65 BB: $391 Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, Button calls, Hero raises to $10, BB calls, Button folds. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($22, 2 players) Hero bets $15, BB calls. Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($52, 2 players) Hero checks, BB bets $30, Hero raises to $96, BB calls. River: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($244, 2 players) Hero bets $163, BB calls. Results: Final pot: $570 ikestoy shows AJo. sigh. so then the very next hand i get my remaining 150 all in preflop against the maniac of the table who is playin 63 51 oo. i have AQs and of course he shows up with AK. sigh. boom. minus 400 bucks. so them im like this is dumb. just go grind all the 100nl tables and get back on track. this of course doesnt happen. i proceed to lose 3 coinflips and then 2 sets vs FDs all in on the flop. boom. ya for a negative day now. good work zak. heres the graph of my genius day. so dumb. dfsjkdsfkjldfskjl http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...isc/sigh-1.jpg |

Withdrew $200 from my bankroll and subscribed to cardrunners.
Set some targets for an ideal world. Assuming i can beat each level at 10ptbb/100 with my flawless stratergies: Grind my $300 roll to $500 at 10nl: 10,000hands Grind my $500 roll to $1000 at 25nl: 10,000hands Grind my $1000 roll to $2000 at 50nl: 10,000 hands 30,000 hands at 1,000 hands a day 4 to 6 tableing. Robusto in no time. Please criticise my expectations What can hold me back - Running below 10ptbb - Cold decks - Downswings - tilt - 20 buyins not enough security - Scared money Seems all those points come together as being the same. |
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
