I've been having a fairly long break even day should I have just called here??? Or was the extra huge bet ok? I know its standard its how I *usually* play the hand, the opponent was pretty good and seemed like he liked his hand

preflop he could have anything, after his 3-bet its most likely 77+...maybe whiffed AK

I like a raise on the flop; you want to build a big pot and there are a lot of turn cards that could kill your action. I probably just raise pot or 2/3 pot, but your overbet seems to have worked for you here.

After villain 3-bets, there's almost $6 in the pot already and about $8.50 in your stack left. A push makes it $14.50 in the pot and villain needs to call $6.60. He's shown he likes his hand already, so might as well stick it in now before a heart or another straight card drops on the turn and kills your action. On a less coordinated board with position I think you can just call and rely on villain to stack himself off on a turn blank.

I agree that pushing here is ok, in fact, it even looks less suspicious than this tiny 4bet. If he is just a little decent, alarm bells should ring in his head after looking at the size of your last raise.
