Atlantis (bahamas), thinking about going

Hey guys, I'm in the Bahamas right now, and a friend of mine has convinced me to go with him to play poker at the casino in the Atlantis resort. We aren't staying there, but are just planning on going to hit the tables.

Ok, I've been an exclusively online player for the last year or so when I got into online poker. I'm not too good, but am a consistent winner (although I'm nowhere near crushing these games) at 2/4 and 3/6, as well as some 5/10. According to about 30k or so hands on PT, I'm making something like 1.2bb/100 at 2/4 and around 1bb/100 at 3/6.

The thing is, I've never even stepped inside a casino before, because before online poker I was never really interested in gambling because I knew that playing games like blackjack and craps, I can't beat the house. Never really seemed that attractive.

Anyways, some information on perhaps what games are spread at Atlantis, would be helpful, and any other information about the poker tables at the casino would be helpful, as well as advice as to what I should do, it being my first time. Thanks.

Unless things have changed recently, there are NO games spread at the Atlantis.

Hmm, surprising. Any other suggestions as far as casinos go here in the Bahamas?

I've heard there was a casino on the main island that had poker, but I can practically guarantee you it will suck like everything else about the Bahamas other than the beach. The dealers (and really everyone in the Bahamas) work in hyper-slow motion. Expect to wait for everything.

Also- it was the only time in my life I saw house cheating in a casino. Yes, this was the Atlantis.

Advice: Enjoy the beach. Get drunk. If you want good poker, good food and ok service, go to Vegas, AC or Foxwoods.

Note: This was about 15 years ago. The dealers made many, many mistakes, 100% were against the player at both BJ and craps. At the craps table there is a definitive rule about how to read the dice when they are leaning on chips.. their rule seemed to be "7-out" if a seven can be read in any way. They'd sweep the dice away as I called "foul". I am very familiar with dealer errors, and what I saw was just too much to explain by coincidence. Why would a dealer cheat a player? ..to balance the tray when they cheat in favor of their confederate.

I don't think the Atlantis has poker, unless you want to play 3 card poker...
