in totally lost on this hand this is my first session on stars and i need help. did i make a bad decision raising PF with the intention to steal. the table had been playing pretty tight by this point.

you could pot the flop and make it 3/3 3/4 pot on the turn, he'll probably still call with any heart.

If you never steal at .01/.02 you're not giving up much imo. People are going to call you down way too much.

Yeah I would recommend never trying to steal or make any sort of fancy plays at 1/2c NL. You're going to get called down by anything, so its best just to play your cards and your reads on the other players.
