Standard play with weak kicker?

Trying to learn to play just standard ABC poker, before trying to be good player. Is that idea bad from the beginning?

Well, what is standard with this kind of hand?

MP 33/18/2.5

HERO BTN: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

1 Fold, MP Call, 1 Fold, HERO Raise, 2 folds, MP call

FLOP: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

MP donks, HERO ?

calls and raises a non-club turn

and thinks about just calling down if the turn is a non-club broadway. You're looking at a Tx or two paint cards here with a club

And do you fold if villain 3-balls you on this non-club turn or call down to showdown?

what was the the turn? I told you what I range I think the villian has so if the turn missed everything i'm confused as hell and see a river.

Villian is pretty agro. His PFR is a little low for his VPIP but I'd expect a PFR with a better A or TT, I also dont see this villian donking a flopped flush. he could have 33 but getting 8:1 I try for my flush

I'd just calldown

If you're gonna put in a raise, I like a non-club river (w/non-club turn obviously). I'd just call down, but my river agg. is anemic.

I raise flop here and call down a 3bet. Villain is more likely to think you are FOS and making a move with a lone club if you raise the flop rather than the turn. He is definitely getting to showdown with any pair and might spazz with a weaker A or K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or something. I think you are ahead the majority of the time when a LAGgish guy donks this flop.

Not putting in a raise somewhere in this hand is missing a ton of value, imo. A guy with 18PFR isn't going to be limping a better ace. You're really only worried about A3, 33, or a flopped flush, and I doubt these hands get donked on the flop often. Any T or PP is probably calling down, and you charge FD's an extra bet to draw.

i dont understand why people think he's going to bet the river. we have him beat, I dont see the point of letting him get the min in until he misses his draw and may not put anymore money in or realizes he cant bluff you
