Is there a reason this guy isn't just banned for spamming? It seems pretty obvious to me. I was surprised to see two spamming threads in here and that he hadn't been banned.

Probably because spamming your blog isn't considered as bad as spamming your business. I would just temp ban here.

The dude has a low post count, his blog has ads, and he's posting crappy posts in OOT. I'd vote to tempban someone worth saving, but I'd just as soon show this guy the door.

I think he honestly just doesn't know what is allowed and what isn't. If everything thinks it's an acceptable solution, I will PM him and explain that he isn't allowed to post about hsi blog and that if he does it again he'll get banned.

I did a really quick search of his posts this morning and didn't see any other spamming attempts.

That seem ok to you guys or you think I should just drop the hammer on him?

I gave him 2 *, he will be gone soon.

I sent him the PM, explained why his posts got deleted (moved), asked that he not start any more threads advertising his blog. Obv will ban if he doesn't comply, but hopefully it was just an honest mistake on his part.

Yes, this guy sucks. I mean check out this thread. It's terrible and I even agree with the guy. Just get rid of him now and move on with our lives.
