25nl AQ Learning to b/f good spot?

Good or bad spot? Opponent loose not too passive either but only 25 hands. Should I be calling here?

this is fine.. drawy board on flop and turn card doesn't seem to hit many drawing hands besides 89

it hits plenty more than 89.

This is a call imo, 3-1 with tptk against a shorty.

Lol no. You need 25% equity, you donīt think he might play KQ/KJ like this if he is somewhat solid? If he is not solid he can have anything.

I felt stupid after folding for a few reasons. Good odds to call. I bet because thought had best hand. My flop and turn bet sizes look weird, flop is non standard amount and turn is. But one of my bigger leaks is bet/call I just having trouble finding the right spots.

u should only bet call the turn with a big draw (when villian minraises and u have a sick draw) or u have tha stone cold nutz and want to get him to bet the river or hit his draw when he is drawing dead. basically i rarely bet call on hthe turn. i bet shove or bet fold almost always

Right. You realize of course that we are 23% vs a hand like QT? So unless we think that this loose shortstack that is not passive only ever pushes with sets and straights I donīt see it. I have on occasion seen shortstacks with this description shove with less. There is like any amount of top pair, second pair hands in his range.

i think twas played fine.

i think we gotta respect villains all in here, i think you are behind his range which encompasses something like: 89, K9, JT, QT, QJ. 44, (maybe but NOT likely sets)

In addition, there are ALOT of likely Pair + Draw hands or combo draws. I think this is a terrible board for TPTK, and even though you got Aces for 2 pair and Kings for the straight, i really don't think you can call here. You can't even be sure of those outs, i wouldn't count on any hearts.

so YES i think good laydown, you are often behind, and when you are actually ahead of a draw, you are not ahead by much at all and villain is All-in, so there is no value to call.
