Re: Poker Stars: VPP per hand - post-legislation edition

ok, i'll redo it w/ MGR

6max 2/4 nl

8197 at $3+
12445 at $1+
34069 total

(8197+12445)/34069 = 0.6059 vpp/hand

during this time I had an MGR of $5,338

total fpps earned at supernova

= 3.5 * 0.6059 * 34609 = 73,393.58

using $1,500 / 100,000 fpp

= 73,393.58 * (1,5000/100,000) = $1,100

so RB% = 1100/5338 * 100 = 20.61%

concierge $3,000 / 186,000 fpp

= 73,393.58 (3,000/186,000) = $1,184

so RB% = 1184/5448 * 100 = 21.73%

look right?

I didn't read every thread so someone might have already made this point.

The fact that Stars now allows people to play 24 tables is bad for the cash games. It increases the ratio of good players/nits to bad players and probably results in smaller pots and less VPPs. The double VPP promo in May also probably taught more people how to play more tables and it also made the ratio of bad players to good players worse.

At 6max you get a 2nd point when the pot was raked with 2$ not 3$
