I know, calling preflop is horrible, especially out of position. As played: Is my flopplay okay or should I fold to his allin or just call his first bet?

donkbet the flop. if villain puts in a huge raise. fold.

as played, your flop reraise should be bigger. with stack sizes, call.

Re: NL25 AK

b3b is a better line here imo. Its much stronger than a checkraise and will get him to fold a few more hands.

aside from that, 3bet preflop as stated in every post in this thread.

grunch
Raise preflop (Im sure that has been said)
I would bet $3 into this flop and if he raises Id shove. I dont really like the check raise. I think he is more likely to fold to a bet then 3bet all in than he will to a check raise to $7.5

Re: NL25 AK

obv 3 bet pre
Im not sure if bet 3 bet line really makes much difernce I mean c/r is pretty strong too and I cant see ever folding this hand given our equity (though debatable because A or K might not be clean outs). I think b/3b line is best if you want to get it in and c/r might be better in the FE sense. bet /3b line costs us more too.

In a vaccume I dont think BTN has a hand that cant stand a c/r that often IMO.

Re: NL25 AK

The only reason I would b3b here is because I have noticed A LOT of people hate being ceck raised at this limit and will call with a lot of crappy hands. Now what do we do with a blank turn? Do we shove, do we make a blocking bet, or do we check hoping he is scared of another check raise?

Re: NL25 AK

I guess It really depends on villan standard TAG will auto raise our donk bet soo that line works. OP gave no reads so not sure. I just meant this is a standard c-bet by villan so c/r folds out more hands than you think IMO. But b/3bet line is good too I just think it depends on what your intentions are here do you want to maximize FE or just get it in if we estimate our equity is good enough for that to be +EV is well.

My thinking may be flawed here though lol.

Re: NL25 AK

I think either is fine. I think we want a fold here but dont mind putting in all of our chips either. If I did check raise I would cr big and hope for a fold. Maybe make it $9 or $10 instead of $7. Basically say to the guy "hey Im willing to put all of it in here you want to dance?"
