San Diego, CA - Where?

I am going for a conference in San Diego in a couple weeks. What are some good card rooms in the area I might want to check out?

And if Ocean's 11 is to far away? What's the next best alternative for LHE 4/8 - 15/30? Even if its a card room and not a Casino?

Hmmm... that's just far enough to be too inconvenient. I will only have a few hours a night and no rental car. Oh well, maybe the next trip I take.

Thanks for the reply.

Card clubs in San Diego:

Village Club
429 Broadway
Chula Vista, CA 91910

Lucky Lady Card Room
5526 El Cajon Boulevard
San Diego, CA 92115

Palomar Card Club
2724 El Cajon Boulevard
San Diego, CA 92104

All of these rooms are small. You should be able to take the trolly from downtown (Blue Line) to the Village club if you don't mind walking a 1/2 mile from the H street exit to the club. I have only been to the Village Club but they have juicy 3/6 & 8/16 limit, and no-limit(don't know buy-ins). You may have a long wait unless you are willing to play anything.

I tried the other two but both were closed when I drove by at 3 am. Who knew a card club ever closed? They were even smaller than the village club from the looks of them. The trolly stops are far from these two so a cab back and forth would be a better way to go.

I've played quite a bit at Lucky Lady. Very juicy 8/16 kill game and very juicy 2/3 NL game. 5 table room, long lists. Worth the wait for the money though. Call ahead and put your name on the list (619) 287 6690.
