Intelligent design vs natural selection

Intelligent designers, (biologists, etc) designed or discovered antibiotics to overcome detrimental bacteria. And then, natural selection on the part of the bacteria came up with even better ideas on how to overcome the intelligent design.

Somehow this is amusing.

Re: Intelligent design vs natural selection

To state that Natural Selection is winning over intelligent design via a contest of biological change, places a completely different argument in place of a rather important one. The question of course isn't human design better than natural selection, but if natural selection is true or not. Confusing the two only dumbs down the discussion.

And he isn't really correct anyhow. Human intelligent design kicks natural selections ass all day long. Resistant bacteria aren't a success for NS any more than the Yankees are a success for Brian Cashman. Nature has a much larger budget, and many more "man-hours." If we had as many individuals working as many lifetimes and consuming as many resources as the bacteria, they'd be SOL.

Yeah, you're right. Let's just kick ass to all of the fisheries, the aquifers, the soil systems, the rain forests, etc....

and...
...every other biotic system that human life *depends* on...

Yeah, you're right... a stupid idiot god will protect us.

Fine, I guess I'll go with the belligerent jerk-ass god who folks in the middle east like so much.

Yes, I am the champion of trusting God to look out for us. Very astute.
