Perhaps I'm missing something, but isn't this is a no brainer? Bet. Why were you considering the check? Some way ahead/behind type thing?

If this is your most uneasy hand of the session it must have been rather dour.

Whatever you do, you need to bet the river. He won't bet so-so hands, but he will call with them (i.e., an inferior J or some pp like 99).

checking anywhere is terrible

bet turn bet river get paid by gutshots and weaker Js. if you are raised let it go.
