Question re Avg Amount of Rakeback for a SSNL Player

This may be stupid questions, but who cares:

For a player playing $50NL, an average of 5-10,000 hands per month and supposedly getting 27% rakeback, how much should that player expect to receive each month in actual dollars?

Is there a way to track how much rake you are paying (and, therefore, the amount of rakeback to which you are entitled)?

If these questions have been answered or addressed in other posts, would greatly appreciate if someone could point me to the posts. Thanks.

You can get a rough estimate by using one of the rakback calculators on some of the rakeback affiliate sites.

I make about 12$/1000hands rakeback at NL50 full tilt.

u didn't specify full ring or 6max...also, ur avg of 5-10K hands is kinda big...

7.5K hands per month at full ring is about $130

at 6max, it comes out to $260

hope some of this helps...use a rakeback calculator like sniper suggested...

Re: Question re Avg Amount of Rakeback for a SSNL Player

I was referring to 6 max. I used a couple of different rakeback calculators and they all gave wildly different results, so I'm still not sure what to think. I started playing at Absolute in November and just recently received my first rakeback "adjustment" and it was $26. I assume that is just for November (so a short month) and the next adjustment in January (for December) will be bigger.

Just trying to get a sense of how to track this and make sure I'm not getting screwed. If I use pokertraker and look at MGR for the period and multiply MGR by my rakeback percentage, that will basically tell me what I should be getting, right?

Thanks for the info guys.

fwiw, I believe that the MGR calculation in PT, asssumes MGR is based on the dealt method...
