I got a virus...
 

I keep getting a pop-up that says "ur computer might be infected with trojan.zlob and it says i should download idefender.exe. "

But when i use the norton screeing test nothing appears. Do i have to get a spyware detector? i try to do a system restore but it says i havent changed my computer in the last few months. I dont need much on my computer except PT and StatKing for the live play. what should i do? i dont know much about computers.

The $ transfer part is not allowed here. Don't worry, someone will help you anyway. This popup isn't a popup from your antivirus program? A lot of times there will be popups telling you that you have viruses you don't really have. Downloading an .exe when you're not sure where it is coming from is certainly a bad idea.

1) don't click on it
2) download Spybot and Adaware if you don't already have them and run them to clear any spyware
3) in the future use Firefox and block popups
4) drop the $25 in the next Salvation Army kettle you see
5) if you have problems after donating to the SA, then it was for a good cause anyway
