Does not make any sense. The only reason you might want to raise the flop is to charge the draw but then wth are you doing folding it. Not to mention turning TPTK into a bluff.

raise flop is v bad. fold turn

Many of you will have seen this already, but I came across it again last night and thought I'd repost.

Here's the original FTR thread, and a subsequent 2+2 thread:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...e=2&fpart=1

Cliff Notes:
> OP plays mainly 400NL, but with plenty of hands at higher stakes
> OP plays: 20/10
> Postflop aggro by street: 2.5/1.4/1.3
> PTBB/100: 6.35
> Sample: 400,000 hands

Mind-boggling, and very thought-provoking IMO.

Sigh, Q10<A7 on 1072 board for top 5 stack in $5 rebuy. Guy was so bad and open shoved for 17k effective in a 5k pot and I snapcalled, river ace

if thats the way you or OP feel more comfortable playing then play like that.

there's a balance between playing in a way that seems to make sense theoretically and the way that you are good at playing. ultimately the aim to work out where the sweet spot is so you make most $$$.

Boz, you are absolutely right, but some bizarre pride thing means I could never play a TAGfish 20/10/2.

But frankly that just goes to show the idiocy that this stupid game can drive you too. Too much ego and not enough smarts.

It has probably has more to do with his emotional status than anything else. Its no secret to me I'd double my winrate if I stopped tilting.
