over new year's lefort and i both wired money to the Venetian where we were staying and they would only give us like 15% of what we wired in cash to go play at bellagio/elsewhere and it ended up being a huge pain in the ass as we had to like launder it out of the casino playing bj/short poker sessions/having other people cash out for us.

this is 100% true at all the casinos. For legal reasons they "aren't meant to act as banks" and for their own reasons they obv want you to give them the action. If you wire it to the Bellagio, though, the Bellagio chips play in other games around Vegas, or there is usually someone in the game who doesn't mind buying them.

I dont see any reason why the cash wouldnt be allowed. I usually drive to Vegas so I dont know, but I have no difficulty bringing like 20k, and I withdraw whatever else I need from the bank there.

wow that is a sick amount of cash to carry on you. Most ive ever carried is like 35k lol I have a hard time fitting more than 35k in all my pockets hehe (they bulge like crazy..)
