i think he took a big hit to his bankrole playing nosebleeds stakes earlier this year, i highly doubt he is broke tho

John did my podcast two weeks ago and openly admitted he'd had a brutal '07 after a great '06. He's lost enough that he's actually interested in self-endorsement now, but I didn't get the sense that he was busto.

watch his play on hsp season 3 and you might get a hint as to why he may be busto.

i really loved how he was deliberating a huge river call for 30.000 $ with like middle pair for quite some time, clearly knew he was beat and still managed to say "alright, merry christmas" before shoveing the chips in the middle ... [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

He absolutely killed in 2006, and I even seen him dominate in early 2007.

Not sure when he took those brutal losses.
