New laptop HELP?
 

Hello,

I am about to buy my first laptop. I dont have alot of $$$ so I'm looking for the lowest price deal I can get.(under $1000) I want to get something mainly for poker. What are the min. (GB,MHZ,hard drives,wireless card) I would need to play poker without any problems? Also, what about AMD or Intel? Any help would be great. THANKS

I would guess that any laptop made in the last 3 years would be fine for playing poker.

Also if you want to run programs like PT getting a dual core chip would be ideal. Only other thing you really need to worry about is the screen resolution.

Get a dell and find a good coupon. I recommend a 15-17in high res monitor, 2gig ram, dual processor, and maybe accidental coverage. This should run 500-1000 depending on what you want.

From what I've heard Intel>>>>>>>>>>AMD they are higher performance for same price. Plus I hear you can hack the intels to run mac osx.
