BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10

I am pretty much a recreational player. I play 10-15 hours a week. Multi-tabling 3-4 tables at a time on Stars. I usually stick to 2/4 or 3/6 but will once in awhile play 2 tables of 5/10 when I feel like my A+ game is on.

I used to run at 1.90 BB/100 for a couple years before the legislation was dropped. Over the last year though it's down to 1.25 BB/100.

I guess I'm just wondering if I'm the only who has had this big a drop in winrate since the legislation. How has your winrate changed over the past year? Still cruising along in the 2BB/100 range?

Thanks for any help

Mine got higher, but I used to suck.

If you even half assedly table/site-select, you won't notice much of a difference, imo.

I went from 3 BB/100 over 60k to -.02 BB/100 over the last 50k... but I'm running pretty bad as well.

I also used to suck pre-legislation. I was breakeven and sustaining myself on bonus whoring. After I settled on Stars, I began a long fruitless run that busted my account after about 50k hands.

So, the good thing about that is it forced me to stand back and look at my game. Since then, I've been able to grind out 1.1bb/100 over 120k hands starting at 1/2, with the bulk of them at 10/20, and some successful shots at 15=30 and 30-60.

Bottom line is there are still plenty of bad players and money to be made, even for a (now) mediocre player like myself. Just don't cash out (minimally if necessary) and play the highest limits your roll can sustain.

Also, I think the consensus is that 1.25bb/100 is pretty good so I wouldn't sweat it too much

I've never won so much money playing poker. And I still suck.

@ op: must be nice to make an recreational 1k per month.

what I know from a very huge database coming from poker stars low limit:
- nobody who plays 50k hands per month beats the game for more than 2 BB/100 in the long run (ok, maybe up to 2 or 3 people might be able to do this but nobody stays long enough at low limits to prove his results)
- people have sick swings (several of the players at 2-4 & 3-6 have at months with 50k hands at 2BB/100 hands just to be followed by a 50k hands month at -0.5BB/100)
