NL 50: AK with open trips

Villian is 20/11/4 and has a tendency to call Cbets when he has position.

Hero running 15/6/2 at this table, but he may well have stats closer to my norm of 14/11/3

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($19.45)
UTG ($26.80)
UTG+1 ($51.05)
Hero ($49)
MP2 ($74.55)
MP3 ($151.10)
CO ($9.75)
Button ($56)
SB ($57.60)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Button calls $2, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

<font color="blue"> Standard </font>

Flop: ($4.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3.5</font>, Button calls $3.50.

<font color="blue"> Standard--I cbet here with a wide range and I know he can float. </font>

Turn: ($11.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, Button checks.

<font color="blue"> I check to try and enduse a bet, so I can CR and punish. </font>

River: ($11.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $17</font>, Hero calls $8.50.

<font color="blue"> I bet out to try and gain value from pocket pairs/random queen/etc who may think I'm bluffing here given the action. Standard?

Obviously his mini-raise is bad news, but I felt a call was in order given how the hand played and I'm getting 4:1. </font>

Shoving and folding are terrible. That being said, I can't imagine he'd play a hand like this that you beat. Probably a good float with 99.

I agree w/ just calling river. only hand in villain's range which we beat &amp; calls the river is KJ...maybe KT
