\"Newbie\" 2+2er, regular B&M player

Hello World!

This is my first post on 2+2. I've actually been reading the forums for a long time, but I guess I've finally encoutered the guts to say hi.

I play mostly B&M (LHE, LO8) in Bay Area cardrooms. I play about 20 hours per month, some months 80, sometimes I take a break. My regular cardroom is the smallish Lucky Buck in Livermore, CA, but I play in San Jose sometimes. As you can gather I play low limits, mostly 3/6-6/12. I may not be the best player in the world, but I am winning (less than 1BB/hr), so it is fun for me.

I have been loving the trip reports and the nice stories from casinos you guys have encountered. Keep up the good stories!

How are the 6/12 games at the places you have played? I am concerned mostly with preflop conditions, unless postflop is vastly more aggressive than a normal small-stakes game. How often are blinds chopped? How often are 6 or more seeing a flop? How often does Lucky buck spread 6/12?

I hear of very few 6/12 players on the forum, fewer still who have experience in Bay Area, which I only get to visit once or twice a year. I'm hoping for a "you should play so-and-so, games are great!" Artichoke Joe's was such a place I tried last year after advice here, and I found the descriptions accurate.

Thanks.
