Where were you 1 year ago?
 

I thought UOpokerPlayer had an interesting idea for a thread, but since he used number of hands (and a small one at that) to measure time, the thread didnt really make sense. So what games where you playing 1 year ago and what games are you playing now?

A year ago I was playing 10/20-30/60 LHE with 10/20 probably making up about 60% of my total play. These days I have switched over to NL (more bluffing = more fun) and now play 5/10 -> 50/100 with 10/20 and 25/50 making up about 80% of my games. Its been a pretty sick ride as far as getting used to new games and variance has gone.

I thought of making this post - 1 year ago I was playing NL200 HU and 3 handed mostly on a 5K bankroll - this week last year, I dropped 3K in a week, then I chased a guy who I thought a 'fish' up to NL500 (Paradise Poker), when he left I ended up taking on BBV legend durrr HU for about 1/4th of my roll. Needless to say I lost more. My roll was down to $1400 and I wasn't sure if I was cut out for poker.

Now I play 5/10 NL with some shots at 10/20.

a year ago i was playing play money omaha8b

today im playing 6.50 SnGs with a few MTTs when i have the time, sometimes playing some .50/$1 limit holdem

5/10 limit shorthanded with many failed shots at 10/20 starting around now.

Now I play 5/10nl with some succesful shots at 10/20nl when the games are good.

One year ago, 2/4 & 3/6 SH limit. Today 20/40 & 30/60, don't care how many players, with shot taking at 50/100 and 1/2.

A year ago I was playing $10/20 and $15/30 limit. Now I'm playing $3/6.

Last year 2/4 and 3/6 shorthanded holdem.
Now, 200nl.

Then, hadn't started playing yet. Now, 200NL taking shots at 400NL.
