Let\'s Practice PF (Expanded PF Range and Analysis)
 

I've realized that getting used to multitabling (again) and polishing up PF should be my highest poker priorities. Since I can't really ask multitabling techniques, here is some PF content. I guess this classifies best as a sanity check.

Since PF changes like this are compounded on all streets, comments on all streets welcome. Yeah, the action is on the low side.

Reads: My PT hadn't kicked in yet but my impression of him at the time was that he was on the loose side.

i would not play qjs utg +1, but i am a noob. Rather i would play it from mp2 and better position.

This is 24 hands into the session.
Some people are multitabling.
No one has particularly impressed or lost much respect to stand out for the stakes.

I have haven't been at many tables at .25/.50 and below where I wouldn't play this from EP. Raise it, don't raise it but I want to see a flop with it.

As far as multitabling goes, practicing the mechanics on free money or .01/.02 tables is the way to start. At first it seems like whak-a-mole but after a while it will slow down. I prefer having a 1600x1200 monitor so no overlappy but the majority of my 4 or 5 tabling was done with lots of overlap and letting Party pop up the table I had to make a decision on.

I don't see any problem raising pf. Staying aggressive through the hand was right in my book. Just out of curiosity what did your opponent have? I put him on either a diamond draw or KJ.

the looser/more passive the table the more inclined I am to limp this from early position. I say this because these folks will often coldcall solid hands that beat us. KJ, AJ, and the like are very common. I'm all for playing QJs from EP overall, though.

I limp with QJs from EP, because

- I want customers who pay my flush or straight off

- If I raise, only dominating hands (AQ, AJ, KQ) will coldcall, the ones I'm behind against (QQ+, AK) will 3bang me

-I don't want this HU, b/c I have no SD value and no TP potential due to lacking hi-card strength

IMO QJs is the example of a hand that plays best multiway.
