Limp raising AA, KK, from EP -- do you? What levels?

I've been seeing this a lot at 10NL and 25NL. Someone limping from early position and then re-raising -- often all in -- with AA or KK.

Is this common at higher levels or is it mainly a micro move? How often do you do it? Under what conditions?

More a micro move. I don't do it. All red lights go on if I notice a UTG limp-reraise.

I like to UTG lim-reraise against a competent lose aggro BTN from time to time. But with trash.

This is more common at lower levels. If the player is otherwise straightforward, this is a strong tell of a big hand. It can be pretty effective at 10 and 25NL, but does not work so good above that.

The only time I do it for a specific reason is if table conditions warrant it (maniac to act after, I just got sucked out on for a big pot where it might look like I am steaming, etc.). Otherwise, I do it randomly with a prechosen hand for the session (two black aces or kings or something).

It depends on the specific game and players but I like to do it occasionally for deception/mix-up purposes.

I like to limp first-in in a lot of positions so I have to limp some big hands so that better players don't exploit me. However, in some games I won't be doing much limping UTG so I am not going to limp that hand either.
