$16 - TT on 884 board

No reads yet, but should I fold the flop or turn even with the good odds?
What about raising or betting the flop?
I felt pretty bad after playing this hand for spewing so many chips and without knowing where i stand.
The river is a sure fold i assume?

Fold to preflop threebet even if it's small, you're often behind, and guy behind you could repop.

I like pf and flop vs unknown.

I fold on the turn. This guy rr pf, bet the flo and now bet again on the turn, you have to give him at least a lil bit of credit without a read.

As played, call the river.

You are right, it was a little bit (too) marginal to play, but I am more concerned about post flop.

It's a sucky post flop situation because you're OOP. I would have advocated a call much more if you were on the button for this very reason than when you're in the SB. Personally I would rather bet out on the flop than check/call, then check the turn and re-evaluate. If he raises on the flop then I'd be out of there of course.

Preflop, I think UTG will often call and you get nice odds to get a set at least.

Calling seems > folding to me.

Is folding pre-flop a bit nittish? I'm not mad about calling as you don't close the action and don't have set odds, raising may take the pot but you probably commiting ~t400.

As played i jam flop.

Re: $16 - TT on 884 board

I would fold preflop because I'm face a raise early and a reraise, and my position is very bad. In almost cases there is an over card to my tens and I have to let the hand go.
But you call.
On the flop, I would lead out with a bet half or 2/3 of the pot for know where I stand. Maybe I'm facing overcards like AK or so and I could win the pot right now. But If I'm reraised, I throw my hand away; If I'm called, I check the turn and go away : there is likely a higher pair

By jam, you mean push flop? That's a bit retarded really, for around t300 chips when we've t1300 behind. It'll achieve nothing other than to get others to fold when they're behind and call when they're ahead of TT, except the odd occasion of a moron calling with 66 etc, which is almost never.

Fair point, my suggestion is mongy alright. Allows opponent to play completely correctly. Pls disregard.
