PLO8 $100: Ordinary hand oop

Lately my hands miss the flop oop more frequently than normal (At least it feels that way ). But I don't want to give up everytime. Do you have suggestions for flop and turn lines which will win as much money as possible in such a situation? Here comes a typical hand:

$0.5/$1 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo
10 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:

MP2 (<font color="#0000cc">$98.64</font>)
SB (<font color="#0000cc">$84.36</font>)
Hero (<font color="#0000cc">$104.04</font>)

Pre-flop: ($1.5, 10 players) Hero is BB 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#777777">4 folds</font>, MP2 calls $1, <font color="#777777">3 folds</font>, SB calls $0.5, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $3</font>, MP2 calls $2, SB calls $2

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($9, 3 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $7</font>, MP2 calls $7, <font color="#777777">SB folds</font>

Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($23, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">MP2 bets $21.85</font>, Hero calls $21.85

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($66.7, 2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks

If you're willing to call the turn for that much, you should lead out for half to 2/3 the pot to gather more info (fold to action, if he calls you're in better shape). He's representing either a great LD probably with diamonds or broadway, right? Top two here is nice with 2nd NLD, so why tell him what you don't have when you can ask what he does have? As it is you've left yourself incapacitated on the river because he could have anything. His check behind implies to me that had a LD with 2 diamonds and you're the winner, but yeah even now it's hard to tell. Of course if you bet $15 and he calls you're probably still stalled on the river when a 4th high comes, but that's not the point.

The turn was in the eyes of the villan a great card for you. You raised preflop representing aces or a good low. Bet the flop representing aces. The turn is an ace and you shut down? WTF is up with that? Either check fold the flop, or bet flop and bet turn. You cant just cant check the turn after a good scare card hits on the turn. If he raises on the turn then you can let go.
