55$ party very deep fish pushes from early

Hi,
a friend of mine played this hand:
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t100/t200
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t4730
UTG+1: t2760
CO: t2140
Hero: t3620
SB: t4040
BB: t2710

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises all-in t2760, CO folds, Hero ???

Villain 53vpip 33pfr infinite aggression.
Stats are from about 50 hands.

IMHO this call would be horrible.
He says he is crushing his range.

I will post the result later, because I would be interested if that changes your opinion.

Thx for any comments.

I fold. If he has an awesome read i'd call AQ, 99+.

Villain on 30% makes this an $ev breakeven call.
Even if villain is on 30%(22, A2, K8, K4s, QT, Q9s, JTs
) it's a pretty high variance move.
You have to have a solid read villain is pushing far more than this range I think.
Then it's a fine call.

Well my friend pushed and the donkey showed 74s.
So he was right, but I still think his push is horrible.

Any more thoughts? Would you call when you knew UTG has this hand in his range?

This is such an easy call given the description of the villain. Basical, everytime you call with <= half of the range of the villain shoving, it is correct. So it is here with ATo.

And btw, we aren't effectifly very deep, only about 18BBs.
And our edge comes from situations where we find out that we have an x% adavantage. This is one such situation, so go with it and call the shove.

This is so wrong, as you have managed to completely ignore ICM... for the same reason it is not correct to call a shove with 22 at t20 when you know for a fact that your opponent is open shoving AK.

22 is not ahead of AK/AT. Change it to 77 and it would be very wrong to fold it if you know Villain holds to AK/AT.

On what planet is 22 not ahead of AK/AT?

77 is only about 2% better...
