This is the standard Rondell White/Tony Batista/ guy with little upside we hope can regain his mediocre form of previous years move we make every year.
Monroe is a close buddy of Torii.
I really hope that played a factor in making this move.

White Sox trade Jon Garland to Anaheim for Orlando Cabrera and "cash considerations".

This seems like an awful deal for the ChiSox.
