Peter Jackson dropped by New line for Hobbit - wtf??
 

What is wrong with the studio heads? Obviously they are pissed off about Jackson's law suit over Fellowship's income. How can anyone but him direct it. Seems like they just want to hire some director who won't demand as much of a cut knowing it could also gross 1+ billion. Oh well. Looking forward to the Lovely Bones.

Meh. I don't think he did a particularly fantastic job with the trilogy so this could be an improvement (or it could be disaster).

Seriosuly LOTR are the most overrated movies over the past years...

THEY ARE so long and stupid and not interesting... why do people like them??

I agree, but thats because i dont like that genre of film.

Peter Jackson did the best of what he had and rightly or wrongly the LOTR trilogy will be one of those (series of) films that stands the test of time.
