North Los Angeles/Ventura County
 

I apologize if this topic has been covered before. I'm a newer lurker.

I will be heading to Ventura County for a job interview in the next couple of weeks. Are there any decent places to play cards up in North LA or Ventura County or will I have to drive to Commerce? (both for the interview and assuming I get the job). Anyone know what Player's Club Casino is like?

Never been to players club, it is suppose to be a very small card room of less than 10 tables. Your choices are the Chumash Indian reservation just past Solvang, or the LA card rooms. Chumash may be farther, but traffic will be easier.

From Ventura, the West side rooms will also be closer (HP, Hustler, Normandie) than Commerce and the Bike, as you can take Canyon roads to PCH thru Malibu.
