another 3/6 turn

This hand is vs 26/19 through only 40 hands so doesn't mean a lot but it's what I was working with.

Yup good advice.
As played, I guess I gotta fold. His line doesn't makes sense if he's got worse then 88. I don't really see him checking this flop with air. Have you been playing nitty btw? I guess it's possible that he checks flop with a jack and raise small on turn for value+ free showdown. If that's the case a push will probably make him fold. A low two pair is also possible.

I would just fold tho.

Villians flop check after RR preflop always terrifies me.

Ace high? lower pair trying to check it down?

I shove, if he's got a set reload, but usually weakness post-flop is exactly that, weakness... and checking behind on the flop and min-raising turn qualifies.

Pretty good chance he flopped a set of jacks here imo.

I don't understand this - are you basically bluffing or are you hoping he has AK for value?

I think the fact he's weak often enough combined with our oesd and a pot worth taking down turns this into a jam. If we didn't turn a straight draw I like folding a little better.

Re: another 3/6 turn

what exactly are you putting him on. IMO he either has JJ or nothing. What is he checking the flop with after a RR and then min raising on the turn. It looks like jj to me.

having been there given the timing and way it went down it felt like air/weak stuff maybe a FD more than JJ. Obv JJ is a possibility but even if he does we have our beautiful 8 outer we can drill.

isn't it pretty much impossible to play profitably preflop?

no [censored], lol. 8 (maybe 6) extra outs is pretty big. I agree id check the turn, as played shoving is ok, but if you have a read I dont mind calling and folding unimproved if he wont bluff with only 1/2 pot left.

Re: another 3/6 turn

shove once you get here. also, you should think about the fact that you've played 10 orbits with the guy and your only read is "26/19". You haven't seen a single hand go to showdown? What has he done on the flop the 8 times he's raised?

id jam it too now but i think turn c/c is better
