88 in sb. Stick around on the turn?

Full Tilt 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $1.
UTG checks, MP (poster) calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG calls, MP calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, MP calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Hero ?

This was early in the session, so at the time I didn't have any notes or reads.

The PF raise is pretty standard I think... but maybe it deserves a comment.
My main question is with a str8 and flush draw on board... do I ever stay around here (what if read on the raiser was someone loose and aggressive?)?

Converter screwed something up, I think. Was there two poster, or 1 caller and 1 poster or none of the above? Against 3 opponents I think you can give up on the flop. Turn is a really easy fold.

I think you're better off calling preflop here. As played, if you're going to bet this flop....you have to do so planning to c/f the turn unimproved if you get calls.

Do you ever raise out of the blinds?

I raise this one without thinking. I want to fold BB if I can and push a marginal eq edge. I dont quite understand the preflop action but someone is posting a blind so the eq edge is even bigger.

seems like there were two posters. i'd raise QJs and 99 in this spot. not a big deal with 88 i just don't do it.

Yeah I think preflop and flop are close/debatable. I check/fold the turn also. I realize I added nothing to this thread but thats ok.

Preflop and flop are probably close. Turn is a c/f imo.
