censored words: required reading

I've noticed some mods are using word combos that contain language they know to be [censored] in the software. This should stop now.

Thanks.

In the new upgrade, will the censor be sharp enough to bull the swearword out of other words.

Almost every other message board software has been able to take a word like say "fuckburgler" and make it "****burgler" or something.

Obviously nobody is intentionally ducking the censor, it's just that it's not developed enough to keep up with what for me is just how I talk.

The short answer is yes. However, we won't want to be using that type of filtering on very many words.

I understand we all want to say fuckberries from time to time. But I also know that when I type the first part I'm using language which is filtered on 2+2. You guys know it too, and all I ask is that you be more careful in the future.

Ryan,

That's very reasonable. I think most of us follow that policy already.

What is the rule on the following (ie: which of these are not allowed):

bullsh!t
bullsh*t
bulls@*!
bull****
bullcrap
bullpoo
BS

Serious question. Thanks.

I am guilty of saying things like bullsh*t or F*cker - but always in a rhetorical way, never as an insult. noted - change will be made.
