ePassporte Revealed

Pokerstars and FullTilt and AP and UB have been aware
longer than they will admit of ePassporte not being able
to process deposits or withdrawl transactions.

FullTilt actually held up the sending/approving of
payout requests to ePassporte until ePassporte 'assured'
FullTilt that the technical problems would be resolved.

Pokerstars has threatened to cease transactions
with ePassporte in the very near future.

ePassporte uses a 3rd Party Processor which is
affilated with and is controlled by ePassporte.

Now for the bad news: This payment processor which
handles transactions for ePassporte along with individuals
working for both ePassporte and their processor have removed
funds being held in escrow pending transaction completion.

The funds for these deposits and withdrawl transactions
cannot be retreived. Poker Stars and Full Tilt have
already been advised by ePassporte Security of the missing
funds and assured that the problems would be resolved.

The only public explanation of the above from ePassporte
to it's customers has been that "ePassporte is having
technical problems and are working hard to resolve this
matter, we appreciate your patience"
ePassporte has not yet come up with the missing funds
and has no plans of returning them at this time to either their
customers or merchants.

ePassporte is anticipating its exit from the online
poker segment as ePassporte is directly impacted by the
regulations just issued this past week.
Under current UIEGA law signed last year ePassporte
is now actively in violation of US law.

The ePassporte corporate headquarters are located
in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Their sales and marketing
offices are in Toronto Canada, and they have an office in
southern California.

Christopher Mallick is owner and CEO of Epassporte.
He has been sued for securities fraud and negligent
misrepresentation.
U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, August Term, 1999
(Argued: May 15, 2000 Decided: May 08, 2001)
Docket No. 99-9042
---------
UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE SECOND CIRCUIT
August Term 2000
Argued: March 19, 2001 Decided: July 19, 2001
Docket No. 00-7803
----------------------

Christopher Mallick was fired as CEO from a company
called Paycom. Paycom was one of the largest online credit
card processing companies. Paycom let Mr Mallick go for
mishandling, misappropriating ( ie stealing ) company
assets. Large amounts of money, a LearJet, high rolling,
and hookers paid for with Paycoms money were some of the
evidence used against Mr Mallick upon his dismissal from
Paycom. Mallick in his prior career filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Christopher Mallick earlier this year launched Oxymoron
Entertainment a $50 million venture. He is aiming
to finance films in the $2 million to $10 million range.

This film venture he launched in February has bled
money and been very unprofitable to date and is in need
of a cash infusion. Epassport funds have been redirected
to this venture as he is the owner and controller of both.

Epassporte has primarily been involved in the gambling
and porn industry. Mr Mallick has a very shady past.
He has however been kind enough to donate money to
the prevention for the sexual exploitation of children
which help to abate the claims that Mr Mallicks company
helps to fund exploitation of these same children
via porn addicts who access content via Epassporte.

The Current Better Business Bureaus (BBB) Rating
for Epassporte is an F, the lowest rating possible
out of a 10-point scale, which corresponds to the
following description:
Quote from (BBB) "We strongly question the company's
reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to
respond to complaints. Their advertising is grossly
misleading, they are not in compliance with the law's
licensing or registration requirements, their complaints
contain especially serious allegations, or the company's
industry is known for its fraudulent business practices."

The above information is mostly available via public
searches. You may contact Mr Mallick and express
your concerns by writing him at:

chris.mallick@ePassporte.com

Note to ePassporte staff, you were advised of information being
released to public pending the return of missing funds.

Proof that this isn't simply a technical problem (messed up database info, human error, whatever) as they claim? Granted the guy may have a shady history but it doesn't automatically implicate him here. The way ePassporte charges fees for everything they don't need to scam cutomers to make a killing.

Also you're not using a typewriter, bro. Text will wrap on its own, you don't have to manually hit enter every time you get near the end of a line in the post box, it makes your post really annoying to read.

No clue if this has any validity or not, but I will say this -- I've been cashing out from ePassporte to my bank account on a near-daily basis without problem.

Today I have tried to cash out to my bank account 5 different times and continually get an error message.

(I do not know what your source for all those other rooms is, stranger, but ePassporte service has been available for US players at TruePoker.com. If there were any change to that, I would update 2+2.)

just withdrew. Looks good to me. $600 hits my bank virtually every day. Good detective work but I don't think you have the smoking gun you think.

They are just disorganized and actually I don't believe they are affected at all considering they don't do business with sportsbooks and poker has never been deemed specifically illegal.

I think this statement is part of the problem, there is always some kind of weird problem with epassporte but none of it seems sinister in nature at this point.

Am I the only one that thinks that them being involved in porn makes them more legit? It is likely the second biggest industry behind gambling, may be the biggest.

Also on a different note, Pay Per View porn is the nuts. You'll thank me later.

Could you elaborate on this? I tried using a CC unsuccessfully through their web site, and their response to my e-mail re: problems with EPassporte was to use EPassporte. If you talk to a live human, will they process U.S. credit cards? What's the workaround?

Have you deposited onto FTP using a check? If so, please explain the details(where you mail it to, how you ensure it goes to the right account, how long it takes, etc).

After more than a month, EPassporte has still not processed my first load from my checking account, and my e-mails aren't answered (and forget calling - no live human answers).

When I e-mailed FTP to see if I could simply mail them a check, they dodged the question and instead repeated that they recommend using EPassporte.

Cheers, Carl.

I've also heard this, and my first (and so far only) deposit came through just fine. I did have a problem when my account tried to get me to set up a payment option when I had already done so...but that was because I had been typing in the wrong user name. Just out of curiosity, what kind of issues do you have with them to cause you to have to call them weekly?

Twice this week I've called, and after being on hold for 20 minutes, was summarily disconnected.

I'm currently on hold, and it's been 24 minutes so far. I'll happily wait another 20/30 minutes if I get a live human, and will report my success back to this forum.

It appears from the postings that current customers either defend EPassporte, or have fewer problems with them, but new customers can't get their initial deposits processed to save their lives.

Cheers, Carl.

Re: ePassporte Revealed

Epassporte likely does way more business with porn webmasters than people looking to gamble. I first used it to get paid for my websites years ago. I've never had any problems receiving payments, sending them, funding my account, or withdrawing.

The amount of money that flows through the adult industry dwarfs online gambling by a huge margin. Their top priority isn't making sure you can donate your $200 to a poker site every week.

Posting a court record from 2001 isn't news. Nor is an online payment processing company struggling with technical issues, this happens to pretty much every company every year.
