Mike Sexton in DC today/tomorrow

Also, Annie Duke taped a "FreeSpeech" segment for the CBS Evening News, that I assume would air tomorrow. More details at this link.

Worth noting, the PPA's website doesn't have any mention of this info mentioned in the article.

"It's just absolutely offensive and it's a weasely way of doing things," said poker pro Daniel Negreanu, a Canadian citizen who lives in Las Vegas. "It's one more American error worldwide as far as its worldview."

I don't really think broadcasting Negreanus views on America is going to help the PPA's cause. They'll reach more people sticking with the honest, tax-paying citizens deserve to enjoy themselves in the privacy of their own home talk.

"It's time for the silent majority to speak up when we feel our rights are violated," said Sexton, who acts as a consultant for Internet poker giant PartyPoker.com. "Who is someone in Washington, D.C. to tell somebody who works all day in North Carolina, Ohio, Kansas or anywhere else that they can't go home and play a $20 online poker tournament at night in the privacy of their own home? Who does that hurt?"

Good stuff. Where was he before the bill passed?

Not sure. I do know that he's a stand up guy, though. Perhaps he had conflicting interests considering how spineless Party was during this whole ordeal. They may've kept a temporary lid on him while recieving their 'expert advice'?
