30r ftp v.s. SCTrojans

Just into the freezeout portion of the rebuy, I've played with SC a couple times before, not sure if he remembers, if he does then he should have me pegged as a std TAG. I was really close to checking behind on the flop, but now that hes check raised me what do I do?

fold. You have a bluff catcher thats all. I fold this PF A9s sure fine open flop usually check behind and call both bets.

I dont know sc or anything about his style but I might venture a call here being as deep as we are and evaluate, unless your reads make you sure hes going to lead the turn, which we just couldnt really call. I think a lot of aggressive players would make this CR play here with this kind of flop, as it puts you in a terrible spot unless you have exactly AJ+, JJ,AA,66.

From his point of view your range here could be quite extensive, and youd c/bet a lot of hands that a check raise would fold.

Bit spewy maybe?

how good of a kicker do we need to continue with this hand after his check raise on the flop?? Obv AJ we're not folding but AQ, AK what would your line be for the rest of the hand? I'm fairly sure we're ditching AT as well...

say we call the raise on the flop with AK, AQ and the turn bricks and he leads out 2200

hero?

checking flop is a good alternative imo. you guys are deep and you have a very marginal hand, and the board is not that scary. i think you can catch a lot of bluffs here or j-x type hands on the turn

as played, fold. i would think on this fairly dry board you were betting for information anyway no?

i call hes making a move alot here w a jack a semi bluff. look to check it down. i would have made a small flop bet to induce a bluff raise and charge gut shots. yeah he MAY BE AHEAD but i cant play that weak tight.

Fold. You have top pair weak kicker and no real redraws to a better hand. He will not be check-raising worse hands here so the only thing you beat is a bluff.

As played I fold. I don't know much how SC plays but I check behind this flop against most players I feel are strong players. Call turn bet or bet of course if checked to.
You are going to get some more heat here I would say 90% on any turn if you call?
Got put in a tough spot by a tough player.

I called and the turn bricked and he lead out 2200. Obv I folded turn but I really regret calling the flop. I dont think an A or 9 on the turn even helps me out much here. I think I should have checked behind flop, and def. should have folded to his c/r
