$10NL, AKs out of position

UTG = 75/2.5/0.91 and the reason I'm there
SB = 28/18/(infinity I guess)

Full Tilt Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

UTG: $19
Hero (MP): $22.40
CO: $3.55
BTN: $9.70
SB: $10
BB: $10

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP)
UTG calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.45, 2 folds, SB raises to $1.55, BB folds, UTG calls $1.45, Hero is not sure if calling is a good option, but doesn't want to fold this hand

You can't really call here, and given you are up vs 2 opponents, I make it about $6 here and call a shove.

Calling is a poor choice here since you are oop. Against two villains I think calling would be ok with position but raise/fold is my general attitude in these spots.

At 10NL it seems there are two types of villains, those who only 3bet QQ+ and AK and those who 3bet a bunch of stuff. I fold AK to type A villains' 3bets sometimes especially oop.

SB stats say he probably widens his 3b range at least occasionally. Here you also have some dead money to squeeze which make me want to bet about 6.5 (and call shove naturally). I don't shove because I want to encourage the weaker part of his range (i.e. JJ, QQ or AQs) to shove/call.

Results.

I pushed pre-flop and was called by SB. He turned over pocket 8's and I win the flip.
