How do you put the cork back on champagne?

ok, so i just turned 21 today and i went out and got a bottle of champagne,

i popped it open and spilled it all over myself, and i didn't realize that it would do that so that was a bad idea

the cork seems to be like 2x the size of the hole in the bottle neck....

i shared some of this with my friends and we aren't heavy drinkers, so we have like the majority of the bottle left

here is the type of champagne

so OOT help me put the cork back in the champagne, i swear it's just too big to go in [that's what she said]

also what kind of champagne tastes good?

also share your stories about champagne,

thanks

lol wow

you don't put the cork back in. you can buy wine stoppers that are these little plastic things that fit in wine bottles, but something tells me you don't have one of those handy.

obv you need to drink the champagne. you don't cork champagne and save it for later. you drink it.

You have to squeeze the cork as hard as you can and shove it back in. It's kind of like putting a square through a circular hole.

well i didn't know that, and it's a huge bottle, and i have to study for the MCAT soon, so i guess i'm going to the liquour store to by a wine stopper?

take a [censored] load of foil and seal the bottle with it.

You don't really even need a stopper or anything. Just cover it with saran wrap and a rubber band or whatever, but keep in mind that you need to drink it in the next 3-5 days max or its gonna taste like crap.

Better solution: drink it all now and your problems are solved.

Hopefully they've updated the MCATs and got rid of the LDO section.

Once a cork comes out of the bottle I can never imagine a scenario where it needs to go back in. I'm pretty sure even trying to do so defies the laws of physics. The bottle cork was not designed for such a thing. Man up and drink the [censored]. Finish off the bottle. Throw bottle and cork in trash. Please don't be one o those losers that keeps wine/champagne bottles for sentimental purposes.

Too bad they don't sell tampons at liquour stores. You could use some of those too.
